2013′s best audiobooks, part three
Posted by: Mary Burkey

This year’s best youth audiobooks, as selected as the American Library Association Booklist magazine Editors’ Choice list, with The Coldest Girl in Coldtown as the top of the list. So many great audios, with a strong emphasis on teen titles, reflecting the explosion of interest in the YA & crossover market. My wishlist for 2014 would include many more releases for picture book read-along titles for toddlers and well-produced beginning reader audiobooks – but suspect that the book app market is cornering the rights on those categories. Perhaps it’s time for Booklist to start evaluating book apps!
