Check out Ellen Myrick’s “Talking With… Janis Ian” interview for more on the author/narrator’s experience recording her audiobook, and my “Talking With…Dan Zitt” interview about Dan’s experience recording Mrs. Obama in the White House.

Time to make a library display and feature these downloads on your library website! Look for the winners to be announced on February 10. Did you notice that there’s no children’s or YA titles on the Grammy list? Find out why in this post:

Check out the Booklist “Talking with . . . Janis Ian” interview to learn a little bit about the making of the audiobook.

  2. Mary Burkey Says:

Thanks, Ellen! I’ve edited my post to add the Talking With interviews!

  3. Sue-Ellen Says:

Also in the Best Children’s Album category are two titles that Booklist reviewed: High Dive and other Things That Could Have Happened by Bill Harley and Can You Canoe from the Okee Dokee Brothers.

  4. Stephanie Bange Says:

I just loved High Dive by Bill Harley — belly laughs all around! Can You Canoe from the Okee Dokee Brothers won the Fids & Kamily Award, announced in November. Good picks, Sue-Ellen!
