Audies Finalists Announced

2010′s top audiobook titles, selected from a field of over 1,000 entries. The Audio Publishers Association has announced the finalists that will vie for the 2011 Audies Awards, to be named at the Audies Gala in New York City on May 24th. As an Audies judge, I can attest to the difficult task of narrowing the large field of excellent nominees down to the five finalists in each category. There’s plenty of great listening and recommendations for patron-pleasing purchases in this year’s list. Why not pull out the finalist audiobook titles on your shelf for a Audies-nominees display next to your Oscar DVD display to tempt your AV customers? And add some links to your downloadable titles to an Audies announcement on your library’s webpage! Congratulations to the narrators & producers below…
