All hail robotic Huck Finn!
Posted by: Mary Burkey

Finally-a perfect use for text-to-speech! The ambitious goal of performing a find-and-replace of “robot” for “n-word” in Mark Twain’s classic The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn to placate those uncomfortable with teaching historical context is the lofty ambition of comedians Gabriel Diani and Etta Devine. Watch the hilarious video for more, including the heart-tugging emotionless translation of Huck’s speech from southern dialect to robot rhythm. And after Watson’s win on Jeopardy, we may all need to start speaking robot soon. I, for one, welcome our robotic overlords!
