Here’s a great way to celebrate the holidays with your family & friends: StoryCorp’s National Day of Listening. StoryCorp’s mission is “to help people honor and celebrate one another’s lives through listening.” So they have posted a Do-It-Yourself guide to “encourage, instruct, and inspire people to record conversations with loved ones.” Take time to listen to the memories of those close to you, while you have time together. You can even upload the recordings to StoryCorp’s website – what a great project for tech-savvy teens as they learn their family history. Those precious moments will be a lasting legacy!
